City of Dillon Website

Dillon is currently in the process of creating a city website which will give internet access and international exposure for the benefit of both the city government and the community.
Glen Wagner, City Manager, and I are working on the city government pages, which will include general information about the city government, each department, contact information and a city calendar. The city council and each city board and committee will have a page detailing the function, names and elected terms. Future plans include city permits such as COA (Certificate of Appropriateness) applications to be available online for printout. Once the city’s ordinances are combined with all amendments and codified, they will be available online. Of particular interest will be the City Recreation Department site, which will list upcoming events and registration forms.

John Braddy will be coordinating the community pages, which will include a “Community Calendar Events”, calendar of regular scheduled meetings with organization contact information and links to businesses with individual websites. We are currently developing criteria for businesses that wish to be listed, to have a page or a link.

Maggie Riales, Revitalization Coordinator, will be compiling all information.
