The Dillon County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor its annual
BBQ cook-off in conjunction with the Dillon Celebrate Main Street festival. The cook-off starts on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 7 p.m.
to conclude Saturday, May 3, 2008. The cook-off location is on
3rd Avenue beside the Dillon Country Courthouse. The Saturday
festivities will be on
Main Street.
The festival will
begin at 10:00 am and will also feature various food and craft vendors, live entertainment,
a 21-category car show and a performance by Houdini at 12:30 pm and 1:00 pm.
Cash prizes
totaling $2,550.00, plus trophies, will be awarded to the winners
of the cook-off at 11:30 a.m. on May 3rd.
Entry fee is $150.00.
We provide the hog.
Entry deadline
is Friday, April 25, 2008 by 10 a.m.
Fee must accompany registration form
