Little
Pee Dee State Park
The blackwaters of the Little Pee Dee River provide a tranquil
setting for guests to enjoy at this regional state park. The
river, named for the Pee Dee Indians who once roamed this area,
is accessible from the park for fishing or just relaxing.
This
835-acre park includes a campground, natural trail and picnic
area. The park’s 54-acre Lake Norton offers anglers the
opportunity to try their luck for bream, bass and catfish.
Located
near I-95, the park is popular with interstate travelers as
well as local residents.

Driving Directions:
From I-95: Take exit #193 onto Hwy 9 through Dillon. From Hwy
9 take a rt. onto Hwy 57 for approximately 11 miles. Turn left
onto county road 22 (State Park Road), cross two bridges over
the Little Pee Dee River and the park will be one mile on the
right.
